How can someone with two kids bake once a week? It can take a few days to get one thing made. The dishes are never cleaned right afterward. I joined Reddit 52weeksofbaking. Now I have a goal, a mission, and something outside of my kids to do.
Week 1: Redo - Blueberry Cheesecake
Ok, so I kind of took the easy way out for this one. I had already made a redo BlueBerry Cheesecake. I already had some good photos. First post easy! First Post was done! (15 upvotes, a good number for this group)
Week 2: Quick Bread
Well, now things got hard. I had to ACTUALLY bake something. I had to find time. After debating about banana bread, zucchini bread, or Soda bread, I finally decided to do a blueberry coffee cake. I wish I remembered how many days it took me to start making it. Then how many days the dry ingredients were mixed and hanging out on the counter. But it finally got done. And it didn't look great.
Life happens. I was just pleased I made it. I determined next week to at least take a better photo. (5 upvotes)
This will be my journey through 52 weeks of baking.
